These tryouts are designed to identify the next generation of elite Australian punters and kickers, with the ultimate goal of helping athletes transition to U.S. colleges on full athletic scholarships in American football, and for a lucky few even on to the NFL.

We welcome those with a strong background in Australian Rules Football, Rugby, or Soccer who are open to exploring this exciting and life-changing pathway.  We note that there are various pathways, depending on your individual ability and academic history.  

Some athletes have a big, powerful kick, others a precise, skillful kick... and we’ve successfully placed both. 

With the variety of college programs and coaching styles in the U.S., there are opportunities for different types of athletes to succeed. 

✅ Athletes of all ages from those with an elite sporting background (AFL/VFL/Professional Soccer) to a strong local sporting history.  If you can kick a ball, this pathway is worth exploring.  

✅ High school students:

• Years 11 & under: we offer a Junior Pathway Program which gives aspiring Prokick Australia athletes the chance to train part-time, develop essential punting/kicking skills, and stay committed to school and other responsibilities.
• Year 12: for entry into our full-time program or brielfy via our Junior Pathway Program as a transition step whilst completing year 12 to ensure focus remains where it should
